Mark Johnson is a professor with a respect for learning and a passion for teaching that has taken him as far afield as the United Kingdom and Africa. With almost 30 years of industry experience, along with teaching assignments at the University of Toronto's Information and Technology Design Centre, Digital Media Studios, and now Durham College, Johnson's varied background and academic interests form the foundation of his teaching.
He has taught a wide variety of courses within the Multimedia Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, Advertising and Public Relations programs for the School of Media, Art & Design, and also fulfilled the duties of co-ordinator for both the Web Development and Multimedia Design programs. His teaching duties currently include Multimedia Professional Practices, Communications for Multimedia, Video Production, Web for Advertising, Electronic Layout, and Digital Imaging.
